Remembering Brother Pauline & Brother WiedenmanGary F. Pauline

On Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, Gary F. Pauline died at age 79 in Pittsburgh.
Beloved husband of Jane S. Pauline; father of Elizabeth P. Scott (Gregory A.) and Douglas S. Pauline; grandfather of Allison E. and Sarah J. Scott; brother of the late Jack and Tom Pauline.
A graduate of Penn State University, Gary served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Aldebaran during the Cuban Missile Crisis blockade. Upon his discharge from the Navy, Gary began a lifelong career in the carbon and powdered metal industry at Stackpole Carbon, Co. of St. Marys, eventually moving his family to New England and Taiwan while with the company.
After retiring from Stackpole Carbon, Gary founded, Allegheny Coatings, in Ridgway. In retirement, Gary and Jane moved to State College to watch their granddaughters play soccer, while Gary became an avid fly fisherman, spending time in Montana fishing the Madison River and the Big Hole, finally settling in Pittsburgh last year.
There will be no visitation, the Pauline family will celebrate Gary's life in a private service in Montana in the spring of 2019.

Remembering Brother Pauline & Brother WiedenmanTed Henley Wedenman

LAKELAND - Ted Henley Wiedenman, 93, died at home in the company of his loving family and friends on 10/25/2018. Ted was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on July 16, 1925, son of Beatrice Henley and Jacob H.M. Wiedenman.
He is survived by his children, Cheryl W. Tyree of Brewster, MA, Penny L. Vigilante and husband John of New Providence, NJ, Peter T. Wiedenman of Shannock, RI, Thomas M. Hay of Mound, MN; his dear friend Robert L. Serenbetz, sister-in-law Patricia Wiedenman, grandchildren Jamie, Matt, Steven, PJ, Katie, Ryan and Tex and nieces and nephews he held dear. He is predeceased by his brother Robert J. and identical twin John E. (Jack) Wiedenman.
Ted attended John Harris High School, Harrisburg, PA class of 1944 and graduated from Penn State University, Sigma Nu fraternity in 1950, after serving in the Navy with his twin in Hawthorne, Nevada.
Ted worked in retailing in his early career at Woodward & Lothrop in Washington, DC and Hahne & Co. in Newark, NJ before buying his own flower and gift business, Nokomis Florist, in Minneapolis, MN. Ted retired to Washington, NC and later to Lakeland, FL. His generous spirit will be missed!
